October 2024 Athlete of the Month
Coach’s Thoughts: Carlo is like that mysterious neighbor that you know nothing about. Is he mean, is he hiding something, what’s his deal? But then one day, to your surprise, you strike up a conversation and realize he is mean…(joking). He’s actually an extremely nice and thoughtful person.
Carlo is a long time CrossFitter who has realized the importance of consistency and varying intensity with his workouts. As a coach, it’s nice to have someone who really pays attention to how their body is feeling and where to push hard and when to hold back. It’s that longevity mindset that allows Carlo to get fitter and keep showing up day after day. I’m sure he will continue to crush any strict pull-up wod, or one day set a push-up record, but he still works hard to get better at his weaknesses (I see your double-unders improving ). Congrats, Carlo, on being AOTM!
